About

I am Swiss, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Graphics and Media Design, with over a decade of experience working with international design agencies, creative studios, and individual clients. My career has spanned a variety of industries and cultural contexts, providing me with a versatile and global outlook.

Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, I bring professional adaptability and a multicultural perspective to every project I undertake.

Currently, I collaborate with clients and agencies, across sectors such as FinTech, Banking, Real Estate, Publishing, and Sustainability, managing projects end-to-end—from feasibility studies to final design. My approach always prioritizes exceptional customer experiences and seamless branding applications.

I’m particularly passionate about exploring the synergy between interactive and graphic design within physical environments. This ongoing challenge and fascination with digital media projects drive me. I believe a well-designed visual interface should harmonize perfectly with content, creating immersive and cohesive experiences that resonate.

2
Approach

Beyond the aesthetics of a product lies a deeper avenue for conveying your brand and values. The way a product behaves and reacts, its tactile essence, wields an impact on par with its visual appeal. Analogous to human interaction, it reveals character—prompting a desire for increased engagement or, conversely, deterring it. Through deliberate design of interactions with computers, apps, websites, installations, and even brands, we forge meaningful connections and, equally crucial, deliver an enjoyable user experience.

While we often draw a distinction between the digital and physical worlds, the reality is that they are intertwined. Every digital product consumes real resources, is stored in a physical space, and requires a portion of our lifetime to be experienced. Recognizing this interconnectivity, I strive to design impactful digital experiences.

Process and methodologies

My UX/UI Product design process and methodologies vary depending on the project and context, with the selection influenced by factors like goals, available resources, timeline, and end-user needs. Below, I outline some common methodologies I know and use based on the project type:

User-Centered Design (UCD)

Focuses on deeply understanding users, their needs, and behaviors.

Application: Ideal for projects where user experience is critical, such as apps, websites, or interactive products.

Tools: Personas, empathy maps, usability testing, journey maps.

Design Thinking

An iterative methodology for problem-solving with a creative and collaborative approach. It includes empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing stages.

Application: Best for projects requiring innovative solutions or in contexts with high uncertainty about the problem or solution.

Tools: Brainstorming, storyboards, rapid prototyping, iterative testing.

Lean UX

Combines Lean Startup principles with UX design, focusing on quick learning through build-measure-learn cycles.

Application: Suitable for projects with limited resources or those needing agile development and rapid validation.

Tools: Low-fidelity prototypes, A/B testing, MVPs (minimum viable products).

Agile Design

Integrates design into an Agile framework like Scrum or Kanban, working in short sprints to deliver incremental value.

Application: For interdisciplinary teams requiring frequent and fast deliveries, such as software or digital services.

Tools: User stories, prioritized backlog, sprints, reviews.

Double Diamond

Divides the design process into four phases: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver, enabling broad exploration before focusing on specific solutions.

Application: Projects requiring a deep understanding of the problem and iterative solution development.

Tools: User research, stakeholder maps, iterative prototyping.

Human-Centered Design

Similar to UCD, but with a broader focus on cultural, social, and emotional aspects of users.

Application: Social impact projects or those aimed at improving people’s quality of life.

Tools: Collaborative workshops, ethnographic research, storytelling.

Selecting the Right Methodology

The choice depends on:

Type of product: Physical, digital, or service?

User context: Who are the end users, and what do they need?

Project goals: Innovation, incremental improvement, or solving a specific problem?

Resources and constraints: Is time limited? Does the team have expertise in the methodology?

In practice, I often combine multiple methodologies to leverage the best of each based on the project’s unique needs.

Design and Layout

Through meticulous content layout, I skillfully guide viewers to engage with your content in an enjoyable manner. With well-chosen typography, harmonious colors, thoughtfully curated visual elements, and impactful imagery, I enhance your message and imbue it with the perfect tone to deeply connect with your audience. Beyond articulating your thoughts, I strengthen your brand identity, adeptly aligning it with your current values and mindset, or even redefining it altogether.

My goal is to develop a visual language and design system that communicates more profoundly than words alone. In this philosophy, form follows function, ensuring that design not only serves its purpose but also seamlessly enhances the user experience.

Software

Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Suite, Miro, Maze, UserZoom, Html, Webflow, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, CSS 3, AI Midjourney, Krea, Leonardo AI, Magnific AI, Runnway, After Effects.
